After gaining her music degree, Katy became a session singer for the BBC and ITV doing backing vocals for artists on shows such as The National Lottery, Blue Peter, Fame Academy and featuring in the world cup advert in 2010 for The SUN newspaper.

Katy has always had a passion for songwriting and performing. During her years at University she formed her band TIGRESS.
TIGRESS released their debut EP 'Human' on 13 November 2015. It was co-produced by You Me at Six guitarist Max Helyer and John Mitchell. The band's first show was performing at the Vans Warped Tour UK kick-off party at the Brooklyn Bowl in London and this was followed by a UK tour with Metro Station and a slot at the Vans Warped Tour UK at Alexandra Palace, London in 2015.

Katy then went on to record a second EP with TIGRESS and in March 2017 the band went on a 2 month tour of the UK and mainland Europe visiting 12 countries with rock band Counterfeit followed by playing The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, Download Festival, performing with Green Day at British Summer Time in Hyde Park and a tour of Russia and Eastern Europe with Billy Talent.

TIGRESS receive regular radio play from BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Kerrang! Radio, Radio X, Triple J in Australia and have seen press coverage from Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound, Upset, The Metro and Alternative Press. TIGRESS have also been played on TV shows such as Tattoo Fixers, BT Sport's MOTO GP, Premier League Football Games and ABC’s Station 19.

Tigress played their biggest show to date supporting Bring Me The Horizon, Evanescence, Enter Shikari and Spiritbox after the release of their full length album 'Pura Vida' and have received a large amount of support from the likes of Annie Mac, Jack Saunders and Daniel P Carter at BBC Radio 1.
